New Lenexa Location Opens

Media Services, LLC and Shred Time Now Offer Clients Two Locations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  April 5, 2007 – Kansas City based Media Services, LLC and Shred Time have opened a second location in Lenexa, Ks.  In December 2006, Media Services purchased the box storage inventory from Meritex Enterprises and digital tape assets from Cavern Technologies for an undisclosed amount.  With this acquisition, Media Services has increased its inventory by more than 10% moving them into position as one of the largest locally owned document and tape management companies in the area.
"The time was right for us to move away from the document and tape asset management business and focus on our core business objectives",” according to Peter Clune, chief executive officer of Cavern Technologies.  “"Media Services has a strong competency in the document and tape business and we knew they were looking for the opportunity to gain a location south of the river.  It all just came together and made a perfect fit."
Media Services has also leased 18,000 square feet of space at the Meritex Underground Facility in Lenexa and will maintain the current office.  “We are excited to have Media Services join us at the Meritex facility,” said Bill Seymour, senior vice president with Meritex Enterprises.  “"They have ambitious growth goals and we look forward to helping them in any way we can."  Our underground facility provides them with the ideal environment for their business.
The three employees at Media Services’ Lenexa office will remain there.  Plans call for additional staff to join them later this year, announced Robert Rippentrop, Media Services president.  Media Services currently employs 22 at its Kansas City, Mo location.
